Summer is officially over. We are now starting the fall season. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love Halloween! It has turned very bitter sweet for our family. I am so thankful that Ian got to experience it. He was the cutest little bat I have ever seen! Fall now makes me think of the start of flu season. The kids have already gotten their influenza vaccine. Glenn and I will get ours as soon as they are available to us. Vaccines are a personal decision. Discuss with your doctors what is best for your family.
Now is the time to remember to wash your hands good. Hand washing not only helps to stop the spread of flu, but so many other diseases also. If your child does become ill, remember that no one knows your child better than you do. Follow your instincts!
